Electric Arc Furnace Roof

The use of oxygen and naturalgas to accelerate the melting process in EAF, increase the thermal loads and thermal shocks on the refractory linings of roof. In addition to increase the life of roof refractories parallel to that of EAF itself, it is recommended to use state of the art refractories based on pure bauxite, fused alumina or tabular alumina in EAF roof linings.
